Student Organizations

Student organizations and activities are intended to compliment the academic program and to meet identified needs of the student body. Student organizations must operate under the policies and procedures established by the Board of Trustees, be sanctioned by the administration and Student Government Association, and be registered with the Vice President for Student Affairs.

Each organization will have elected officers and faculty advisor(s); records of officers, membership, and financial transactions must be available to the Student Senate.

The following organizations are currently active on COTO’s Campus:

  • Student Government Association (SGA)
  • Archery Club

  • COTO Fishing Team

  • Information Technology Club (IT Club)

  • Mechatronics Society

  • Missionary Baptist Student Fellowship (MBSF)

  • Photography Club

  • Psychology Club

College of the Ouachitas also has the following Honors Societies:

  • Honors College

  • National Technical Honor Society

  • Phi Theta Kappa (PTK)
