DLM Division of Systems, Inc. in collaboration with College of the Ouachitas, COTO Adult Education, Department of Workforce Services, Department of Human Services, and the West Central Arkansas Workforce Development Area is pleased to announce a free training program which could potentially lead to full-time employment with DLM as a mig welder.
No experience is necessary to apply for this free training program which will be conducted to prepare applicants for employment opportunities with DLM. Trainees will not be paid for their time while attending class however DLM will hire welders from those who successfully complete the training. The training will be conducted on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and on one Saturday beginning January 21, 2017 for approximately five weeks to accommodate those who are already employed but are looking for a better opportunity. The training will also include four weeks of paid work experience before full-time employment is determined. DLM offers excellent pay & benefits and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Successful completion of the training does not guarantee employment. Other factors for consideration include: passing a drug screen, Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) assessment scores, interview, lifting and transferring materials of up to 50 lbs., following safety rules and general company policy, showing up for training and work on time and every day, demonstrating a positive can-do attitude, demonstrating a good work ethic, and producing a quality product.

Applicants can also fill out applications at any Arkansas Workforce Center where they will be forwarded via email to the Malvern Workforce Center. Application deadline is January 13, 2017. Applicants will be required to attend one of two information sessions on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 6:00 PM or Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the COTO CAST Building in order to be considered for the training.
