College of the Ouachitas is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Mechatronics instructor in our Applied Science Division. This is a 9-month faculty position working with students in our newly renovated Center for Applied Science Technology building. A variety of skillsets are taught in the Mechatronics curriculum including Safety, Mechanical Systems, Electricity, Digital Circuits, Blueprint Reading, CAD, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical Motors, PLCs, and Robotics. The ideal candidate will possess experience working and/or teaching in many of the aforementioned areas.
- Associate degree in a related field and at least 3 years of work related experience.
- Bachelor degree in a related field.
- At least 5 years of work related experience.
- Industry certifications/credentials.
